A bit about me

I dived into programming later compared to other people. Up until 18 I wanted to be a chemist because I enjoyed the complex nature of elements and the feeling of playing with matter to create something new. Although my first PC was a Thomson T07, I then started programming on a TI-89 calculator by building a dynamic periodic table in Basic. Since then I never stopped programming.

Outside of programming, I have many interests. I read and travel a lot and practice juggling with Kendama, Begleri or Balisongs. So far, I visited 12 countries so far, ran 3 competition.

A bit about this website

From all the things I could have built, this website is the simplest. Yet, it's the one I cherish the most. It has no backend, no AI, no fancy tools. It's a simple set of html pages laying in some corner of the web. It isn't intended for any audience, nor is it built to satisfy any ego. This website is my own personal space that I update to whenever I feel the need to. It started as an empty place, with very little content and evolves as I add more findings from the world.

This text also acts as a reminder to resist the urge to use this space as a "personal branding" section. If I share anything here, it should be useful to me or be something I care about.

Now

  • I started running. I'm not good at it, but I enjoy it. I ran my first half-marathon in 2024 and ran my first marathon in 2025. I still work to improve my pace and time.
  • I learn Japanese. I've been frustrated about not being able to speak with people when I go to Japan and decided to get the JLPT N5.
  • I started Hyperfuse to build the tools I wish I had. For now it's simply a github organization with several projects that I started.
  • I focus a lot of my time on my family. My kids are young and love to travel with us and I use every opportunity to do so.
  • I work hard on my kendama and balisong tricks, although I have less time to do it.
